Public Speaking Course for Councillors

The CCA is holding a Public Speaking Course for Councillors in conjunction with The Roe Project at CCHQ, London.The training course will look at how to deliver a presentation, how to make an impact and dealing with difficult questions.Attendance costs £80 which includes a sandwich lunch and refreshment breaks. The event is open to CCA members only.

New Councillors Training Day

The training day will consist of a series of presentations by those with a wide experience of local government and the Conservative Party.  There will be a Q&A session at the end of each presentation.Sessions include: understanding your council and your role as a cllr, dealing with the media, helping your constituents and setting up a social action project.
