Labour gained one seat from the Conservatives in Mansfield, and held two seats: one seat in Coventry and one seat in Sefton.
Liberal Democrats gained one seat from an independent, originally elected as Liberal Democrat in Mid Devon, and held two seats: one seat in Vale of White Horse and one seat in Oxfordshire.
