Local Government By-election Results

Labour held a seat in Croydon. Liberal Democrats held a seat in Chelmsford. In two by-elections in Shetland two candidates of No Description gained seats from Independents. An Independent gained a seat from Liberal Democrats in Cornwall. An Independent held a seat in Pembrokeshire.
