One of our last events of 2020 was our first From Cllr to MP event. Eastleigh MP, Paul Holmes, joined CCA Board Member Cllr Lewis Cocking, and CCA Members to talk about his experiences in local government and how they helped him first in getting selected as a Parliamentary Candidate and then in his work in Westminster. Paul also spoke to Members about the selection process and answered questions on a raft of issues, from planning to his work on the Housing, Communities and Local Government Select Committee.
