This seminar is aimed at Finance Portfolio Holders but is open to anyone wishing to further develop their understanding of local government finance.
The seminar will be led by Cllr Melvyn Caplan, Finance Cabinet Member for Westminster City Council. Topics covered will include the budgeting process, the legal framework, and relationships with other precepting authorities. There will also be the opportunity to share best practice and ask questions.
Please note that this free seminar is open to CCA members only and places are limited. If the Finance Portfolio Holder is unable to attend then the Leader/Deputy is welcome to attend in their place. We operate on a first-come first-served basis so please book early to avoid disappointment!
