CCA Members receive discounted rates at CCA events including the Councillor Development Weekend, CCA Local Government Conference, Roe Project Public Speaking Course and many more.
We also regularly run workshops, training and policy days across the country which are free or subsidised for CCA members.

Publications
The CCA produces cca.voice magazine four times a year as well as various one-off special briefing papers.
The CCA also produces a number of guides that you can view online in the CCA Member area. These include the Guide for New Councillors, Involving Young People in Local Democracy, Engaging with your Constituents, Councillors and the Law and many more.
CCA Member Area
The CCA Member Area is designed especially for councillors and candidates, and provides information and advice to support them in their role. Members can access the latest campaign packs, press releases, by-election results, campaigning guides and much more.
Campaigning
The CCA offers campaign support including our campaign briefs and guides such Winning your Local By-Election and many more. The CCA members can also apply for a CCA campaign grant which is a great opportunity to boost their local campaigning.
News
The CCA has an email service providing members with up-to-date news and messages from the DLUHC team. Once a week members are sent by-election results, policy briefings and other relevant news of use to them in their role as councillors and campaigners.
